The purpose of the MARS project is to “build an infrastructure allowing seamless transition from simulation to hardware implementations of robotic interactions with intelligent agents.” My job on the MARS project was to take charge of Computer-Aided Design assignments. I was tasked with integrating the hardware with the virtual simulations and connecting them to the next work as well.

LABRATORY

Cardiac Biomechanics Lab

Patients with heart failure preserved ejection fraction (HFpEF) do not respond well to the typical treatment for heart failure which is decreasing heart rate; however, they have shown a positive response to a moderate increased heart rate. My research was focused on understanding why increased heart rate reverses the growth of HFpEF patients and restores normal cardiac function.

Pre-College Initiate Committee Member

As a PCI member I engaged with our partner school in multiplay ways. I was a guest people on a college inquiry panel and a judge for their engineering competition

Vice President

As Vice President, I helped plan and lead general body and e-board meetings. I also represented the club in conferences and to other organizations on campus. I aided the president in his duties, helped establish new relationships, and organized club programs.
